Sept 21 2008 - End of an Era: Kinda...

It had always been the plan that I would stay in Singapore until Season One of Clone Wars was finished. So after 25 months, 9 episodes, and countless new experiences my wife and I packed up once again and hit the road.

My time in Singapore was fantastic. I loved the Studio and I loved the project… but what I think I’ll miss most is the team of animators I worked with. I wish all of my friends the best of luck.

I was preparing for the dreaded job-hunt when a Directing opportunity arose for me at Lucasfilm’s main studio in San Francisco. Cool!

...And that’s where I am now. I just started as “Guest Episodic Director” on Clone Wars season two at Big Rock Ranch and so far it’s amazing. It really is a ranch in the country!

Promoted to "Animation Supervisor" at LAS recently. Sharing this role, as always, with the honorable Cedric Lo. But alas, my time in Singapore is coming to its end; season one wraps up soon and I'm off to do something new. There will indeed be a 'Clone Wars' feature hitting the big screen soon which I did not have the pleasure of working on. The TV series will air this summer.

The world of animation has lost a great man - Andy Knight, Owner of Redrover. He was a mentor and a friend. May he rest in peace.

I've been animating on Clone Wars for almost two years and it's been a long time since I've posted any animation. I would really love to share my Lucasfilm work but for now I've posted "Spike" - something I've been working on at home.

- Took a trip to "a Taiwan studio" to meet the team there and talk about animation. Cedric Lo (far left) and I spoke through a translator to a large group of animators.. which was interesting. Thanks to all the guys there for showing us a great time.

Apr 19 2007 - Promoted to "Supervising Lead Animator" at Lucasfilm. Work on "Clone Wars" is going well. Rob Coleman {animation director on the Star Wars prequel trilogy} is here visiting and spending lots of quality time with our team and filling our brains with his knowledge and advice.
